Took a little hike in the back woods today an had a Chicken Casserole with Rice IMP for lunch, here's a few picks if interested. Didn't look great but tasted pretty good once I added a packet of pepper sauce, nice big chunks of chicken.

Oh man...do NOT look at that second picture if you haven't eaten yet! It looks like you opened the ration a few weeks ago and left it sitting for stuff to grow and reproduce in there. :-)

What is this for a mess kit. Looks similar to a German one?

You have a keen eye housil, yes they are Matterhorn boots. The mess kit came from ebay where it was listed as German but I think its just a cheap copy however very similar to the one you have pictured.

Hence my comment about it not looking great but the stuff pictured on the spoon looks pretty tasty. (sorta want some more now actually)
