Jmsdf Life raft chocolate?

Im sorry if this is very vague 
but recently I talked with an member of the JMSDF and he told me about an "Emergency Chocolate Bar" inside of every inflatable life raft in a ship for the Jmsdf, with similar characteristics to the US D ration bars. so im wondering if anyone has any infomation on this "emergency chocolate bar" or any other type of emergency rations used by the JMSDF or JASDF.
