Post by housil » Mon Aug 19, 2024 7:19 am

Today I got three dutch winter rations. They have the highest amount of calories I ever saw on a ration - 6322

Thats a huge amount of food per ration, Thanks for sharing!
I came, I saw, I ate some rations then fell asleep amongst the clover.

All the food is Orifo brand now! Let us know how those freeze dried meals taste.

Looking forward to seeing a taste test! The "oat muesli with yoghurt and banana" is one I keep seeing and it sounds amazing :)

Great review housil! Just curious if the drink mixes have the artificial sweetener or real sugar. Depending on what sweetener is used, some of them are not very good for you if you use them alot. Also I'm thinking that many calories in a ration if they were used in a shtf situation and the idea was to stay put the ration would easily make 2 or 3 meals.

Thanks for the info housil, also I just realized that my comment on the food was a bit off: what I meant to say was that in a shtf situation where the idea is to shelter in place it looks to me like these pouches in the ration could be shared by 2 people per pouch because of all the calories.
