Spanish Halal Ration

Hello. In October I posted a picture of Spanish Halal ration asking for more info as I couldn’t find anything myself.
I finally decided to open it as I still had no idea what could be inside or if it’s any different than standard Spanish rations. And… Kind of disappointed. Was hoping it maybe different at least a little. Nope. Same as standard ones.
So now I’m wondering, why is it Halal certified (there’s the stamp on lower right) and says it’s for muslin staff but includes pork pate? Do Spanish soldiers that require Halal rations just toss it, trade it or give it away? I guess all the other food would be fine as the meatballs are made with beef… Could it be marked just so soldiers know there’s minimum amount of pork in there or what?
I would like to hear your thoughts on this please and thank you

Very odd... Pork is not Halal in any fashion that I am aware of. My guess would be that the ration was incorrectly labeled and maybe that is how it wound up on the commercial market in the first place.

Interesting ration, so it is semi-halal :)
You can expect such things from Jomipsa ;)
