So i got this item in the mail some days ago but wanted to post it here too. Also hoping someone might have any information or help me with translations etc.
I am feeling very certain this is a real WW2 Japanese ration too and not something produced later as the auction house has never disappointed me and has a good reputation.

So what i managed to translate is "Rice" "Seaweed" "Rice cake" and "Dry meat". But i know that there is more written there but the translation app is just not cutting it and making it sound very weird.
Also if anyone has any information about this ration or Japanese rations in general i would appreciate it as my knowledge is limited.
For a long time i thought the Japanese rations was only rice...

Also the fact that this thing has survived this long is probably a miracle considering the supply situations the Japanese often found themselves in. And how it got to the US.
Wish i knew how this exact ration was saved but there wasn't really any information offered where i bought it.
It's also very similar to a K ration which is why i used one as a comparison.

Perhaps a part of their postwar rebuild?
