Hi,
I have come across a Australian IMCR.
I am after some history to assist in a YouTube review.
All i know so far is that they were in use between 1985/86 and phased out in the 90's.
I would love to know when they were phased out and any images or other information would be fantastic.
Cheers

Looking at a study done more recently, they list two other studies related to the IMCR. I searched briefly but it looks like you’ll have to try to get these from the library or a request for information, and hope it has the dates.
Driver, G. E., et al. (1996) Trial and Evaluation of Australian Re-designed Ration Packs - Lightweight Individual Meal Ration Pack (IMCR) and Combat Ration Five Man (CR5M).
Forbes-Ewan, C. H., Morrissey, B. L. L. and Waters, D. R. (1988) Field Evaluation of Australian Ration Packs. Acceptability of the Individual Meal Combat Ration.
Failing that, you’ll have to do a deep dive into government procurement documents, if they are available.
Hi Smitty,
Thanks i have read heaps of the government pdf's i can find mentions of when it was introduced, but not when it was phased out, i am estimating its in the 90's and my example is probably in the last year of use.
