How uncommon in North America are brand new German EPAs? I've got a few coming my way from Deutschland so I'm pretty excited about it

They can be had. I'm assuming you mean the temporary "Western Style" EPAs in the tan bag? I traded for mine, but they pop up for sale enough.

I haven't had an issue with Canadian customs for a little bit, so that's been nice. Usually if it gets tagged, they just send it back instead of destroying it.

I don't know what happened, we(Americans) had a free flow of foreign rations, into US, until about 2.5 years ago. Can't get anything now, unless you know somebody, somewhere.

That's really unfortunate, although I think it may be due to the amount of small scale conflicts happening in the world. Luckily, I have a friend in the Bundeswehr I met on a NATO exercise so he's my hookup in exchange for IMPs

The most recent regular ones (grey box, not tan bag) have a BBD of 09/2022 and come in six types. Here's the contents list:



The main courses are produced by Erasco and come in brown pouches. Type 2 contains lentil stew with cocktail wieners and green beans in sauce with mini chopped sirloins. Other mains I've seen are pea stew with cocktail wieners, chicken fricassee, chili sin carne, pasta bolognese and pork goulash with noodles.
