Russian rations ?
Russian rations ?
Is there any guide to russian rations or can someone explain them? There are so many type, producers and versions of rations that i'm lost. Here are some pictures.
Re: Russian rations ?
I am but a noob when it comes to this, but as I understand it:
Green cardboard box with the large white star is legit Russian Army
White camo or yellow with that “bat” logo is civilian
Blue is Emercom (Government Emergency Organization)
Green Camo Plastic bag is a government organization of some sort. Police perhaps?

All the best, Gents.

Top picture is an IRPBS with freeze dried stuff, used by spetsnaz and probably anywhere in russia due to the cold
Check out my ORP menu spreadsheet: https://bit.ly/2NqUFRX | I have: | British 24HR Box Rations | French RCIRs | Type I EPA |Danish Rations

Starting from the top, I believe photos 3,4,5 are all 24 hour mountain rations just different years of production.

4 is civilian.
most wanted: RCIR, MCI/B units, IMPs, anything old, and a packet or two of RAFCO soup. PM if you've got these, or anything else to sell that isn't too expensive.

You sure about that? My understanding from a couple years ago is that the pictured package might be a real mountain ration (something like 5,000 cal) or a repack of a standard army ration to LOOK like a mountain ration (around 3000 cal). I can't read the label in that pic.
