Over the moon, just managed to bag this *almost complete 10 man compo ration, I think it’s bits and bobs from various different boxes but it’s one of the most complete and decent condition examples I’ve ever seen. See pics...

Noone really knows much about compos. I have some duncans from a 6/95 10 man compo that came in 2 5 packs. The designation was:

"Duncans
MILK CHOCOLATE

with milk"

Lemme take some pictures quickly. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. The chocolate that was meant to come in yours might've been different, cant be sure. I know this 2 packs of 5 deal didnt last too long, was completely gone by like 2002. Some of the late 80s compos came without chocolate, but i think this one did as i asked the seller for this lot and he said he scoffed it :'(

Glad I kept hold of my random Duncan’s bars now then! I might not have the full 5 in the plastic but at least I have a few to add to it. Probably wouldn’t be too hard to find a few more either. Just annoying I’ll probably have to buy a few full rations to get them lol.

Only thing is, if you want them genuine era, they will NOT have the 4 digit code printed on the front under the flavour. that came in during 95 and your compos are all 93/4 iirc

Ah I’m not that much of a stickler for those kind of details. As long as it’s got the Duncan’s and it’s the right colour/size that’s fine. Over the years I might even find the genuine article but for now, for display it would certainly do.
My dream is to find one of these from the 60s/70s intact. You ever seen any?

Only in pictures mate. Guy got 2 for 99p back in the early 2010s, both from the early 70s. lucky git!
Dont forget you have a gem here, still edible GS-Style cans from the 90s, even the boxes are worth a bit.
