Hello to all of the ration historians here.

While the rations of the west (U.S., Nazi Germany, Italy...) are well documented and examples of which are still floating around. Those of the east (apart from Japan) I cannot find much information on. Does anyone know what the armies of countries in the Asian theatre, especially that of China, ate during the war?

Chinese in ww2 didn't have rations . They usually cooked fried rice or fried noodle. They created the ration after Chinese civil war . First one like a dried cooked rice and dried noodles , they need to be cooked on the field .
PLA produced that could be called " Ready meal " in 1976 3 type of main ( freeze dried rice , instant noodle , compressed cookie) 3 type of meat ( corned beef , meat with miso , fried meat and vegetable .)
