I own a old Canadian IMP Pears Retort in it's box, and noted that it contains two date codes:
006J1G1
008K1B1
This box did come from a IMP between the years 1981-1989, but the date codes are a mystery to me since they are similiar to several different codes used by other products. Could be be January 6, and the 1 following the J/K is 1981? Who knows!
If anyone has any insight, I would appreciate it.
