Anyone got any info on this ration I was EXTREMELY lucky to get my hands on. Bought from Northern Ireland. I’m guessing it’s British Army, a little later (1909) than the boer war ration Steve did a review on... in immaculate condition, I’m betting the contents could still be edible even.

Re: 1909 ration
If it real, it's a hell of a find. It looks partially genuine but it is in far better shape than it should be, I hope you didnt pay too much. I do hope its real but this is more likely a reproduction.
Ebay has tons of replicas of things similar:

Re: 1909 ration
the replicas was made in resin so if Edward 1987 is made in genuine metal and by the look of it I thinks its real.

Re: 1909 ration
Yea it’s the best replica ever made if it is one. I’ve been into antiques and stuff like metal detecting for 20 years and I can tell this is old. Lovely patina to the metal and that certain old metallic smell. I feel it would almost be a crime to open it, so I may leave it for some time until I can find another (if that’s even possible). But do keep your eyes peeled for my new channel where I’ll be opening up some super rare rations to document and of course for you all to enjoy!
