The 2019 cases are starting to trickle out. I've got one inbound, and I see Gosse has them up for sale. Per the rumours based on the tender documents, Pizza Pasta, Smoked Meat with Demi-Glace Sauce is back! Along with the Southwestern Chipotle Chicken.

Other updates for IMP19 - 3-in-1 coffee is now in 19 of the 21 menus, and Expresso Roast Coffee is now only in 2. This could also be the last year of the iconic IMP wrapper, as they say IMP20 will have a waterproof style.

This will be updated as we know more.

Menu A - No Longer "Breakfast"

• #1. Beans and Wieners - Double Packed
• #2. Scalloped Potatoes and Ham - Double Packed
• #3. Hash Browns and Bacon
• #4. Sausage and Hash Browns - Double Packed
• #5. Breakfast Patties
• #6. Baked Beans
• #7. Hash Browns and Bacon

The double menus (#3 and #7) may switch up. They do from time to time. I'm not expecting any other breakfast menu changes.

Menu B - No longer "Lunch/Dinner"

• #8. Beef Macaroni - Double Packed
• #9. Southwestern Chipotle Chicken (Chicken and Vegetable Stew moved) - Double Packed
• #10. Smoked Meat with Demi-glaced Sauce (use to be Mustard Sauce)
• #11. Chicken and Vegetable Stew (Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya removed)
• #12. Pulled Pork - Double Packed
• #13. Chili
• #14. Pizza Pasta (Lasagna removed)

Note, they moved Chicken and Veg to Menu 11, as Menu 9 is now included twice in the case. I have too many Chicken Veg Stews, so I'm excited.

Menu C - No longer "Supper"

• #15. Poutine - Double Packed
• #16. Spaghetti and Meatballs - Double Packed
• #17. Indian Chicken
• #18. Shepherd's Pie - Double Packed
• #19. Lamb and Vegetable Stew
• #20. Beef and Vegetable Stew
• #21. Turkey Strips with Orange Sauce

UPDATE: I was expecting Chicken Pesto Pasta and Beef Ravioli to replace the Lamb and the Turkey but this did not happen

Desserts are probably stagnant, remaining with Fruit Cocktail, Sliced Apples, Sliced Peaches, Sliced Pears, and Date Squares....c'mon.

The last year of IMP Classic. I hope it'll be one to remember.

That's the rumour. The lady at the rations program didn't want to elaborate too much, but she heavily implied it. The lack of a water proof outer, and risk during flights, is essentially why they are issued seperate.

Most of the soldiers I talk to call it a "heater bag" after staring at me a bit trying to figure out what FRH means.

Whoaaa, well I got an unexpected surprise.

2019 Menu C's just came in. No beef Ravioli and Chicken Pesto Pasta as predicted by their tender documents. No changes from 2018. Business as usual. (I'm bummed, I don't like the Turkey Strips)

I'm willing to bet they're waiting for the change over to the new packaging before they change menus perhaps? Hopefully that will bring back hamburgers lol.

No dice on the burgers sadly. Page 42 and 43 have the menu lists for IMP20
