Cool find. I'm showing a current Russian ration for $35 plus $22 shipping to me. That's a little steep for an impulse purchase but at least they seem to have the things in stock.
It also looks like this store is based in Ukraine.

The "two soviet" is one russian (left) and one ukrain (right). Two different countries since 1991...
To my opinion, the ukrain:

contains very commercially aviailable stuff, nothing seem“s especially military designed (for e.g. colored labels on cans etc...)
the (newer) russian:

contains entrees in same shape as the old German EPa entrees :

(old) German EPa entree:

(or a Sheba pet food container *lol*

)
The box is very similar to a french RCIR-one
This "older" russian:
had a similar shape than that one I got from Afghanistan russian troops last year:

I thought the Russians eat Buckwheat groats, and maybe some pork of beef fat. Communisn or Capitalism. You be the Judge.

Huh? Communism? I thought the USSR went out of business, belly-up, Chap 7, back in 1991? Outside of Cuba, I don't think there are any communist/socialist countries left, though China may still be communist in name only.

North Korea too and the Eastern suburb of Paris, the only area in the world were you still can find a "Karl Marx Avenue" or a "Lenin Street"
