Einmannpackung typ E

I saw a box with einmannpackung typ E. Can any one tell me wat typ E is?? Maybe stands the E for the 5??

Back in 1960s, they had letters instead of numbers. I´m sorry but I don´t know a source of menus from this old EPas.
