yes but the margarine in the old EPA's was very useful to avoid burning the food at the bottom of the tray.

Why? Because I'm sitting here at work now, cleaning the pepsi off the computer screen & keyboard that I squirted through my nose when I scrolled down through your response to my question and came to the picture of the "Puffer Fish" :!: :o

I damn near fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard! :mrgreen:

I can remember to my very first EPa I had in approx. 1980. They had still a tube of margarine in it. Also the "user manual" recommanded to use the margarine to avoid the burning:

They got rancid after a "certain" time so they removed the margarine at all.

The margraine was also part of the continetal breakfast as "we" allways use butter/margarine under the jam/pate
