Thanks for the info jubifahrer, I'll see at Lidl: we have two of them in my town.
Kaufland, Marktkauf and Penny are unknown here.

Well the EPA has arrived and its good, very good actually

I had Menu II 2004, not the III as listed, the seller sent me an email asking if that was OK, I sure didn't mind.

this is the one meal and desert I have eaten (I ate the bread with both Pate before I started taking pictures  (sorry about the pics, i had to use my old phones camera (havent worked out how to connect my new one yet  ))

Gulasch mit Kartoffeln, this was really nice, great taste lots of meat and potato, reminded me of the Uk Lancashire Hotpot with a bit more tomato.

I had the Grapefruit drink (was just like grapefruit juice, i was shocked thought it would be a cheap imitation taste)

Desert
Obstsalat :P

that was really good, only made on 2004 so pretty fresh, could eat another one right now.

End

will do the rest at a later date (don't want to eat the EPA in one go)

over all, I think the German EPA are great and recomend them to anyone, they are durable and great quality food (don't expact anything else from the Germans, thier quality is known world wide)

I strongly agree!

The only negative point: why don't they put instant soup or beef tea in the EPA's?
(I regret the old margarine too!)

No problem housil, I give praise when its due

I just tried the 'Ravioli in Champignonsauce'

was nice, the ravioli was good,a little dry, not many, but they were big, the sauce was good had a good strong taste, the mushrooms used were tiny about the size of a 1C (euro) coin, but there were loads of them,

the EPA coffee was too strong for my taste even with the whitener and milk.

Overall,

I LIKE EPA's, the exotic drink is out of this world (much nicer then the UK drinks, that and the Cherry MRE drink as my favorites)

The coffee was perfect for me but I usually drink Italian style coffee (the ultra black coffee from the Italian traditional aluminum coffee pot) so I'm not frightened by any strong coffee  BUT the tea was black too and that's something I'm not used to drink

their grapefruit drink is perfect, I didn’t try the “exotic” flavor yet.
Talking about MRE drinks I've been very ...surprised by the blue thing I got after mixing the "grape" instant drink powder with water
