About the system that Ebay rejects some of us from seeing WW2 items, or for instance Bayonets (as happenend to me.):
Ebay has a chronic fear that it will be held responsible for whatever item has been or will be sold by its auctions. (We all are familiar to the Liability System in the US.) Also must be noticed that Ebay does its utmost best to be World Wide Political Correct. Ebay negociates all around the world to all kinds of governments. In some countries the governments expressed the opinion that its citizens should not be temptated to buy terrible things like fascists books, Iron Crosses with Swastika's and so on. Ebay has solved this 'problem' by looking into your computer at your IP-address and the language you have chosen to run your computer! In other words, if your IP-address is from Germany and you computer language is German, you will be blocked from certain Ebay postings!
So in my case the solution was very simple: I switched my computer language to English, and the blockings weren't there anymore.
Hopefully it will work for you too. If it doesn't work, it is useless to ask me for a solution.
