Indian buffet restaurants are pretty plentiful these days, they're all over the place now. As are Chinese buffet restaurants that have both Chinese dishes and sushi.
As for the hexamine tabs, I guess they need a couple to heat each entree package and some more to make the tea.

I fell in love with their Chicken Curry and Flat Bread (made fresh per order). What was surprisingly good as well was the side dish of Potatoes & Peas Curry. YUM! My taste buds are dancing right now just thinking about it.....
Getting back to the above pictures though, they sure include a lot of hexamine tablets with that stove in each ration!

There's Jewel of India and Taj Palace in San Luis, but they're probably not buffets. For some really low cost Indian food, you'll probably have to go north to the South Bay where the restaurants cater more to a native demographic.

I went to one the other day and was rather amazed at the number of retort Indian entree items that were available from various manufacturers. The one that I went to had the retort Ready-to-eat items priced from $1.49-$1.99 each, and many of them had manufacturer's promotional pricing on the packaging as either "Buy Two, Get One Free", or "Buy One, Get One Free" which actualized their pricing to $1 each. I've seen these very same items in the major supermarket chains (Safeway, Albertsons, Raley's) for as much as $5.28 each without the promotional printing on the packaging.

Yeah, ya know all those call center jobs that have been outsourced to India? Probably won't be long before they subcontract it out to US companies located some of lower median income states.

Or the call that you thought had been outsourced to India and sinced been outsourced to some US company that uses prison labor. I know of at least one high-tech company that already has their 1st level tech support call center out in the middle of a desert (state owned facility

)
