Sounds like we all need to meet over at housil's place for a review party. :-) I'll bring my stockpile of Country Captain Chicken.

Getränkemodul

Post by housil » Thu Jan 29, 2009 3:23 pm

See what I got today

My very first (!) Getränkemodul (beverages module) of Gruppenverpflegung

20 rations of beverages

each with tea (black & apple), coffee, cappuccino, sugar etc.

For the first time the Bundeswehr is using commercial items (tea bags, cappuccino) in "rations" mixed with well known EPa items, but the Gruppenverpflegung is for field kitchen purpose!

That Drink set looks really good, is it just the Grapefruit drink or is there the Tropical drink there too?

I've got a few EPA grapefruit drinks spare if anyone wants them drop me a PM, I don't like grapefruit... too bitter.

If you add a packet of sugar into the grapefruit drink its ok, it takes the bitterness away. You also get a little sugar rush because of all the sugar in the drink :D

I've never tried the grape beverage, just cherry and lemon and lime both of those were really nice. I'll look out for it.
