Actually, I not only watched it, I really enjoyed it, it's rare I get to try to understand more than a little German, and this was right up my alley with foods and some simple verbs. I'd be wary of gray fruit salad, but as we all know, never look at what you're eating when it comes from an MRE(IMP,RCIR,EPA), etc.. I like the Obstsalat. He is not this colorfull as you may know it from regular canned fruit salad.
But that is why the EPa stuff has an unlimited shelf life. The food is "boiled down" like the grandma did it 100 years ago.
All other contains some chemical stuff to keep the color of the fruits. If you boil down some fruits in a glas, almost everything turn "grey". Thats the way the Obstsalat looks like. (for the next 100, edible years...)

It's a timeout message. What I've done if I've spent a lot of time on a posting is to copy it to the Clipboard (Copy or Ctrl-C) and then post. If I get that message, I just go back and do another reply and then Paste or Ctrl-V to put it in again.

Yep, Grandma style. That how we still do it on the farm. We preserve lots of fruits and vegetables by boiling them down in glasses ('wecken'). Lots of work but worth the efford.
The program was good and informing about the 'Bundeswehr'. A short question to fellow members from Germany: Has anyone seen/recorded the broadcast from last Wednesday (Mittwoch) on WDR (West 3): "Frauen für die Front - Deutsche Soldatinnen im Überlebenstraining?" I missed it and would like to see it.

BigMark...I fixed your post above with the funky codes all over the place - it looks like "Disable BBCode in this post" was checked and that's why it was showing up.
I know what you mean about that error message. My messages sometimes get "sent to hell", too - don't know what that's about but hitting my browser's "Back" button and then clicking on "Preview" usually clears it up. Either that or copying and pasting text like you did into a new message.
