1970s British 24 hour ration pack G.S

Post by Jorwei » Thu Jan 10, 2019 12:48 pm

I recently came across a bunch of 1975-76 british 24 hour ration G.S. The storage condition seems to have been quite poor, but the quantity of what i found is large so i have dug through about half of it and manage to find quite alot of "mint" condition items. Now, Im sitting on a bunch of unopened can food(ginger pudding, Bacon burger, Beef paste, Steak and kidney Pudding, Margarine, Chocolate sponge pudding, rice pudding etc) Biscuits, Chocolate, Candy, gum etc etc, as well as boxes that has yet to be checked out. I have just about every menu.
My question is: Do you know more about it? Is this rare? Could anyone be interested in this?

Some of the members will be interested for sure as the cans even if the food isnt edible can be used display, maybe make a list of what you have and some pictures!!
I would probably be interested in some candy, can opener or sundries/coffee/tea
I have Spanish rations permanently, feel free to ask :!:

Nice pics! Hard to find those old rations, but they do pop up on eBay Uk every now and then. I wonder if the chocolate is still good?

If you have any still sealed GS rations I would pay you handsomely for them. Send me a PM if interested.
