Question about Kazakh rations

Post by DonJa » Mon Mar 19, 2018 7:35 am

Any idea the number of calories in these things? Per the reverse side of a Menu #1, I added the "units", and it came to 1,525 but that seems light for a 24h ration.

It's pretty hardy, so maybe thats the calorie count per meal? Also it might be in a different unit of measurement.
Killed by rancid pound-cake. I know that will be on my tomb stone.

There are 3,570 calories in each ration.

That would put it on a par with similar Russian and Ukrainian rations. What's your source?
