The packing girl was executed by Rocket-man, for pre-smoking the cig, and not eating the peach ring desert, first.

After the Chicken and the Egg, came the "Omelet"!

Ha, yeah, this might be the wrong crowd for that joke (home decoration fans). Plus, I am also showing my age a bit.wats6831 wrote:

In reflecting, you're right. Having been in Korea during the "tree incident", and having worked what we in "the business" call the "Korean problem", just take that stuff seriously.Simon2002mre wrote:....I think it was a perody...OtisRNeedleman wrote:shawker71 wrote:Well yeah, but it was pretty good wasn't it?
No, it was awful.
That wouldn't even be close to an NK ration, if they have their own. First, NK is pretty particular about pictures of Kim Il Song, Kim Jong Il, and Kim Jong Un. They wouldn't put their pictures on something designed to be cut up and thrown away. Second, the "accessory package" is literally garbage. There would be no ammunition included. There wouldn't be a cigarette butt. Lastly, the amount of rice in the ration is insufficient, and there are no other food items.
IF NK were to have MRE-type rations, they might get them from China. Alternatively, they may have developed their own special rations for their special operations troops. "Regular" troops would likely eat from field kitchens and/or forage.
My qualifications - former Korean linguist, retired intelligence officer, 39 months in Korea.

Thank you for your service.

5 pages in and you are no closer to an answer. Still had a good ride getting here though huh?

They are available, but they are illegal to purchase here in the United States. It is against the Federal Law. One of my Chinese vendors asked me if I wanted to buy some. I told him no. He told me he tries to list them on Ebay and they immediately remove the page.

One would think we could talk a Chinese MRE enthusiast into documenting one if they are indeed available in China... it certainly would be interestingSimon2002mre wrote:Man, what a cool ration that would be to try out.archapma-0 wrote:They are available, but they are illegal to purchase here in the United States.
