Very nice video, thanks for sharing! Your choice of background was awesome. I have yet to try this ostrich entree, but it's on my list. Last time I ordered it I got a menu 1 that was not ostrich lol. Guess I'm not supposed to have it ...

it is what it is....

Re: FRENCH RCIR #1 OSTRICH IN CRANBERRY SAUCE
I never had ostrich before. Even though I don't eat poultry I wanted to try it so I did. It's like beef and in a way slightly like tuna, Damir and Biso who made the review agreed on beef part, but with tuna connection I was alone. Real macho radical-non-vegetarian kind of meat.
Aftertaste is poultrish and again I was only one to taste the poultry after few minutes. Maybe because I don't eat it and I could taste it's a bird indeed.

Yeah I've eaten roasted ostrich tenderloin several times and it looks almost identical to beef tenderloin and has nearly the same texture. It's also interesting in that it's PH level helps it be almost completely resistant to e coli and salmonella.Asger wrote:I never had ostrich before. Just looking at my usual ration supplier here: https://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/shop ... 74552.html
No ostrich on any of the menus, bah. Might take a punt though as you never know.

Ostrich was deleted - exp 2019 was the last menu where it was in box 1. replaced by kebab meatballs.Telemachus wrote:Just looking at my usual ration supplier here: https://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/shop ... 74552.html
