For sure, him and his brother are great! The ORP series was a good one; you should for sure give it a watch!GingerBritscuit wrote:Oh man, at least I have the one tan sachet!Simon2002mre wrote:The silver ones are just gross, super fake tasting, and the sesame bar is sticky, and hard, but honestly pretty good. Everything else in there from the one that I have had is pretty top notch!
I saw that you'd been doing a bit of a series on ORPs recently, Simon, I'll have to watch it!

Guys, you were right, the silver beverage powders are blooming terrible!
The tropical one has this overbearing bittersweetness with a chemical tang to it, and although it had strong pineapple and mango flavours going on it just wasn't that good. Still drank it though, hydration is important.
Think I'll have the tan sacheted orange next, with dinner.

Ya, we all gotta go through that terrible thing, but like I said the rest of it should be pretty good.GingerBritscuit wrote:Guys, you were right, the silver beverage powders are blooming terrible!

The tan sachet of Raspberry beverage powder from the ORP's is my absolute favourite beverage mix from ANY ration I have had thus far, I hope you can find one sometime.

Funny thing, got home from work today and had a package waiting for me, large mystery box from BlackDogBob, and guess what was inside? Looks like I get to try the cola myself.GingerBritscuit wrote:I will let you know for sure how that one turns out, Nighthawk, though my money is on it being not dissimilar to flat cola.Nighthawk1097 wrote:COLA!?! I for sure wanna know what that's like.
I haven't been able to get my hands on an ORP yet. I've seen and heard great things about them. Hope you enjoy yours!
The website I got my ORP from sells them for £9.99, but with international shipping at around £15, I can see why they don't end up Stateside as often!

Re: British 24 Hour Ration Packs
The British ration packs are top-notch, for sure. I've had the cola beverage a few times now, and I found it essentially tasted like semi-sweet, flat cola. It was strange the first time, but it kind of grew on me the second time.
They're well-stocked rations, with a solid reputation. Many people feel the British beverages are among the best found in ration packs.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts after trying it.

My favorite yumminess is the Mango Cake, Love. Hard to pinpoint which rat-pack that Yummy Mango Cake will be in. All 75 Grams of that yummy cake. I like to eat it.

After the Chicken and the Egg, came the "Omelet"!

ORP's are one of my favorites. Drinks are amazing beside Slazinger branded ones that are so-so.
