I have a dutch arctic no.4 with the freeze dried meals. Don't know when I'll try fo tackle it because I'd have to eat it over 2 or 3 days

ROEK = Rantsoen Onder Extreme Koude (Dutch)

Translates as 'Ration Under Extreme Cold' in English.
Freeze-dried ration, used in very cold conditions,
where a high number of calories need to be consumed.
Hope that helps. :D

It does. Perhaps it’s the “Arctic” part that isn’t a literal translation. I admit I haven’t seen too many of these.
