Also two energy modules came with it (no idea what "aanvul" means, due Google it´s Afrikaans

as they contain 900kcal, I guess it´s an additional for winter?

I actually speak afrikaans 
Dutch and Afrikaans are pretty similar and sometimes use the same words.
Its a supplemental energy modular ration. I'm guessing to supplement the daily rations when extra calories are required in the field.
