Just had my first Polish ration. Menu 4, Chuck Steak in Vegetable Sauce.

It seemed like a complete meal with main, pate, crackers, drink mix, honey, candy and a cranberry cereal bar

My taste test:
The main: large chunk of tasty meat, perfectly cooked vegetables and savory sauce. A winner in my book
The Tourist Terrine: with the disclaimer that I am leery of pate, it actually wasn't bad at all. It complemented the crackers nicely.
Cereal Bar: very tasty and would buy these on their own
Crackers: same as the Lithuanian and I do love them
Honey: I love honey and this had a great flavor
Fruit drink: tasted like passion fruit, tastier than I thought it would be.

In conclusion, I was happy with it and was quite filling. The FRH in this was amazing and boiled the water inside of a minute and heated the meal throughout. The only disappointment was the lack of tea or coffee. Hope you enjoyed.

Thank for sharing , I also liked this entree very much. The crackers are actually produced in Poland and delivered for the Lithuanian rations

Those hooks are for the bags, you can use the outer green bag for water purification - you just punch the hook into the bag

That explains why the outer bag has a 1 liter line on it. I was wondering about that. Thank you.

It's the same dish they translate on SR-G-2 as pork neck with vegetables and here they use chuck steak in vegetable sauce... is that changed with newer rations or is it because different company makes them?

Also very strange they have tippfehler "nankin" printed on the bag in English part.

I haven't had the SRG version, but it looked on your video little different from the S-R-4 version. The packaging company is the same (Musli-klex), but the manucaturing company of the dish doesn't have to be the same.
