Do you guys think $40 plus shipping is too much for a french ration. I got a second chance offer at this price. It's shipping from a US location.

the opposite is also true: here in France you must pay as much as $15 for a US MRE + $10/15 for S&H charges, lucky enough if you don't finally receive an "antique" dark brown pack
The best thing for us is that we have the Germans as neighbors: they have tons of fresh MRE's and the shipping costs within Europe are still correct
