Sometimes you just get lucky.
I was training new conductor at work and we talked what we did before trains..
Find out that he was military officer before coming to us.
One thing lead another and now I have 4 genuine Finnish combat rations.

Review coming and if someone is interested for trading like FSR...

Those look really nice, Hair-FIN! Great find & what a cool way to get em'.

I wish I had a couple FSR's lying around - I'd be jumping on a trade for one but I think I'll let one of the other fellows go for it (one that's lucky enough to have an FSR hah!).

It's funny, I had recently thought to myself "what are Finnish soldiers grubbing on?" and I imagined it to be maybe like a 24hr rat similar to a Dutch or something. It actually looks to have a 50/50 or so of civilian and govt contracted food items from how it looks in the pictures here.

If you have time to do a review, Mr. FIN I'll bet we here would all be pretty happy!

Yeah, review is coming. But I don`t know when, pretty hectic at work.
I seems that most of if not all the components of these rations are indeed from commercial origins.
But when I do the review we know more!
