Rations to Australia

Post by bushmaster » Sat Aug 13, 2011 5:41 am

Hi Everyone I am new to the forum, but I have been watching this site for a while. I can see that there are issues in shipping across countries. Any ideas and suggestions would be great. How do I get international rations into Australia

G´day mate and welcome to forums :D Image
How do I get international rations into Australia
Depends to your Australian customs regulations and how the sender will declare the items  But sending ration by post to Australia is pretty expansive like e.g. 5kg German -> Australia = €40 (55AUD), 10kg = 75AUD

Best/usually way over is doing a swap with somebody and everybody is paying his own expanse. Australian rations are pretty rare so try to get some and offer them for a swap over here. You will find somebody for sure that will send you some other rations you want

G'day to you Housil

Thanks for the advice, I do have access to Australian rations at times ( CR1M of different menus )
I also can get 2 man 48 hr New Zealand box, which is basically the same food items in Australian rations

Welcome to the forums bushmaster. Good too see another Aussie. Are we the only two on here? On rations side it does seem that they rare and expensive. Would always be prepared to go in on a group buy if either of us finds a good deal

Bushmaster

I have gotten rations in from Australia before, but do not have experience getting them to Australia. I have a very large selection of rations, so send me a private message if you are interested in trading.

Well, if you two could figure out a way to get rations here I could send some MRE's your way or some of my FSIR's for a trade.
