new fake ration on ebay?!

i just saw a new ration on ebay and i guess its a fake.

on the one pic there are travellunch meals and on the packed picture there are the alu-containers.
and: mainmeal currywurst? never saw an army having currywurst as mainmeal in a ration!

Me too, so I wrote the seller a mail asking him where he got them from as they seems "home made" to me.

He denied and demand they are allegedly genuie Bundeswehr.

on the one pic there are travellunch meals and on the packed picture there are the alu-containers.
and: mainmeal currywurst? never saw an army having currywurst as mainmeal in a ration!

He explains that in the description below saying, it´s just an example but you are right, never saw any "Currywurst" dish (Curryking?!), nor "Erbseneintopf mit Mettwurst" (pea stew w/ pork sausage).

I do not bid on them, to me they are a mixture of left overs EPa leicht stuff, EPa stuff and supermarket crap.

There seem to be new EPA types in trial phase, but that auction looks like a fraud...it´s also interesting that the seller has copied the instructions from classical EPAs: the label on the package says that the meals can be "enjoyed either hot or cold", which is odd, because the main entrees are freeze-dried.

the bags look homemade but the pics of the site look like the genuine bundeswehr site...

I found that article on the Bundeswehr Intranet site, that's why it can't be found on the internet. It's definately an odd find, but considering the new situations German troops face in Afghanistan introducing new EPA types would make sense.
