Spanish individual emergency ration.
I recently got some Spanish items. I don't usually bother because when it's easy to get, it aint that interesting, but I was out of them, so I stocked up. Anyway, my purchase also included some of these which I thought might be of interest. They don't often crop up so it was nice to get a few.
This is not a meal/MRE like the regular Spanish rations, it is, as the name implies, an emergency ration. The contents are (more or less) as follows....
Coffee, sugar, sweets, water purification tabs, hydration tab, vitamin tab, fuel tab, jerky (or to translate more directly "chewable dry meat"), energy bar type thing, matches, and possibly more/less as I really don't know because I haven't opened one.
It has a listed expiry date of OCT 2008.
It is sealed in plastic, and the contents are stored in a tin.
The pic with the MRE is just for size reference.

The problem you'll face is postage. Spanish rates are actually very good for within Spain, but sending international, even just to the EU, is high.
If you want I can price a few for you, see what the weight/postage comes to, but I can tell you now that it won't be a nice looking number. Each meal ration on average weighs maybe 0.8 Kilos, with the breakfasts a bit lighter. It might be worth it if you just want a couple for a collection, but even that is going be a pain with the postage.

Right, here's how it breaks down.
Originally I was thinking they could be sent as a general packet/large envelope, that has a limit of 2KG. That just works out too expensive though. There is however another plan, sending it as a parcel. I know that might sound the same thing, but it does make sense in Spanish.
Anyway, the Spanish parcel rate is bad if you want to send something small, 2 or 3KG, but it gets a lot better the further up the weight scale you go. The reason for this is that it is a fixed price (23 euros I think) for the parcel, then around 3 euros per KG or part.
So, a 1KG parcel (1 ration), 23+3 = 26 euros shipping per ration - very bad.
A 5KG parcel (5 rations), 23+(5x3) = 7.60 euros per ration - getting better.
A 10KG parcel (10 rations or maybe actually 11), 23+(3x10) = 4.81 per ration - just about acceptable.
Anyway, that's how it works, don't blame me, blame the Spanish postal system.
If you want some, I can send them, but it's up to you to find the balance between how many you would want and what you'd want to pay for each in terms of postage.
Finally, please note that all the above is shipping costs, we would still need to come to an agreement on ration cost, but I'm not a seller/trader so you can just have them at a fair price.
