So funny!!!!!!
If they drop their rations - they wouldn´t get captured.
The enemy will let them go and start French cuisine...

Perhaps we should all put aside a new MRE, store it well, then in 30 years we can all make a fortune on ebay.
"1 x 2005 MRE, perfect condition".
Unless we're all living on the moon by then and eating hydrofood blocks.
Either way, there will still be an ebay, probably.

Jaw-dropping stuff... booze & smokes in a ration pack! Every Aussie serviceperson's dream!
Very interesting post, thank you (domo arrigato).

really cool stuff kato. you make me jealous is there any military ration you have not obtained?
"Do not attack the First Marine Division. Leave the yellowlegs alone. Strike the American Army."
Orders given to Communist troops in the Korean War;
shortly afterward, the Marines were ordered
to not wear their khaki leggings.

Hi,
thanks Kato! Now you have the "T" ration, you have to look for the "C" version it's almost similar but less interesting: no brandy!

Hi there,
start the fire, what a pity!!
The ch'ti-mi (northern France people) colleagues and I, we used to keep them for the breakfast: one big bowl of hot coffee, two bottles of eau de vie and here's a good "bistouille" to start the day
