Hey Guys,

I promised that I would be posting some great ration deals over the next couple of days. Well, here is the first of them. What I have are two mid 1980's MRE cases in very good condition. Both are identical but slightly different, inasmuch, as the white paper labels that are glued on, and the bar code for one but not the other.

Both are packed by the same manufacturer and have DLA codes of 1983 but packing dates of 1984 with a inspection date of 1987. These are really good for collecting, or having a static display. Cardboard is still very stiff and no defects anywhere. I'll offer them up for $5.00 plus shipping (which, I don't think will be very much).

If you ever find a case of mre's made in 88 I'll take them immeadiatly! And if the date code would be 8056(? 25 feb?) I would be in heaven I wanna do a ration display with rations from my birth year

Cool idea. 88 is a good year. 1974 will be a rough year for me! haha Im to old!

I hope some time to find a whole 1984 case for my birth-year as well!

Being born in December though, I'd probably find components from the time I was born in early 85 cases most likely
