I have one Chicken Burrito Bowl, the new 2017 MRE menu.

I want someone within the community to have it, and I want everyone to have an equal chance at getting it.

So the only thing I could come up with is a lottery or draw system. At the same time we can raise money for a good cause.

I was looking into charities that seem to be effective and legit. There are MANY good causes out there but I think many of us can connect with Veteran related causes.

Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust
Mission: Physical and psychological rehabilitation programs for ill and wounded veterans
Donations: $6 million
Percent spent on direct aid: 97 percent
Percent of fundraising costs: 1 percent

So this is how it will work: You go to the charity page and donate at least $5. You then send me a PM or post here with your receipt or a screenshot showing your donation.

Blur out all your information, I just need a way to connect your username to a donation. I put my username in the "company" field for my address.

You have until midnight MST Sunday December 10th, 2017. I will then randomize every username in Excel and post the results. The username at the top will be the winner of the Burrito Bowl.

The last time we ran a charity event, it didn't go well, so I expect you all to step your game up BIG TIME.

Everyone wins, a worthwhile charity gets donations from our community, you get a chance to be one of the first to get this MRE, and you can write a donation off on your taxes.

Thank you for helping and stepping up. We need to put our $ where our priorities are.

Without veterans stepping up and living the rest of their lives with service connected injuries and illnesses, we wouldn't be able to have this forum, freedom to gather, and freedom to enjoy MREs and the hobby we all love.

I gave 10 years of my life.....now I hope not to stop on a whammy in the raffle. Don't ever call out vets for not being patriotic enough.
