Hey everybody,

I have 6 first gen 1984 brown bag MREs that are leftovers from two cases. These loose bags are part of an amazing lot that I acquired; the mains have been edible, as well as the nutcakes and other items. I wish that I had more to offer, but have been sharing these '84s with fellow veterans, some coworkers and selling others over time. I should also add that all coffee instants, creamers and cocoa beverage powders are 100% not clumpy..even the candy in the accessory packs were edible (the chocolate toffee bar was killer!)

Anyhow, I'll take offers throughout the weekend and will sell the particular MRE when I find a selling price that's kosher with both parties. Everything will be done fairly; rest assured that I'm not going to make up phantom offers for a few more dollars..that's pretty weak indeed. I've got good feedback for the few deals I've completed, that includes deals involving MREs from this lot.

Here's the menus available:
•Menu #6 Frankfurters with bean component, accessory packet E (quantity 2)
•Menu #9 Chicken a la king, accessory packet A
•Menu #11 Ham slices, accessory packet A

I also have a case of 1982s (still double banded) that I plan on opening, reviewing and sharing in the forum! I really can't wait to dig into this case, that's a fact! Hopefully I can pull it off over the weekend if time allows, and bags might possibly be for sale out of this 1982 case. All other cases from this lot have been traded/sold...sorry guys.

Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. Thanks everyone and good luck!
EDIT: Please send offers via PM

If the 82 case has a Menu 12 Ground Beef and Spiced Sauce I would certainly be VERY interested

Yep, that's the MRE that I'm definitely looking for too. I will put it out there if I find it.

I can vouch that these are the freshest 1980s MRE's you will ever try. It's like going back in time, amazing stuff.

Thanks for the great words Sniper, and I'm glad you're enjoying them! Yeah, aren't they amazing? Definitely something I'll likely never stumble upon ever again. At least this good.

Wow, "Fresh" mid-80s brown bags! What a great time machine experience! I did a review of a mid-80s Chili Mac that had been frozen for 20 years that Steve sent me. It was amazing to be able to not only check out the contents of something that old, but to be able to EAT them! I hope everyone who gets these thoroughly enjoys the experience. I'm seriously considering the Frankfurters and the Chicken Loaf...

Oh wow, frozen for that long..no way something like that could happen in my life because it seems like every few years I pack my things and move on lol! It's been awesome luck with the quality here. When I hear "fresh", I think of crisp greens and fields of wheat haha..don't ask where that comes from because even I don't know!!

The mains have been edible, delicious nut cakes and so on. The brownie, chocolate covered was rock hard (were they originally?) and tasted just a little off but I devoured it! IDK, perhaps there's some dairy in the ingredients. I'm being honest with my experience and others say the same thing.

If you're considering the chicken loaf I'd recommend to act expeditiously ;)
