Looking for JSDF MREs

Hey all

New to the forums. Always wanted to get into tasting MREs from other countries. Finally biting the bullet. I figured I would make my first post about something I've been wanting to try for the last 5 or so years.

I'm looking for any Japan Ground Self-Defense Force MREs out there. Type I, type II, the survival kind...whatever is available. I've tried contacting services that export Japanese products but so far I've had no luck finding them. It may even be impossible, but I figured I would give it a shot. It may turn out that I'm just not looking in the right places.

I've heard these things are some of the best MREs out there...I'd like to try for myself and pit these up against whatever else I can get my hands on down the road.

I don't have anything interesting to trade. But I will pay good money for any if you're willing to part with them. Drop me a PM if you have any or know where to find some!

Wishing you much luck locating JSDFs... after joining MREinfo, one of the first rations I wanted was the Japanese Menu #2 COMBAT RATION II - Pork Sausage Steak... it's still on my wish list Hopefully, you'll have better results.

I am Taki from Japan. I just recently joined.

I have a few JSDF type 1 (cans) and a few semi-ration sets,which includes a big pack of Kanpan(sweet dried bread cubes), orange jelly, and a can of sausage. I also have a vaiety of civilian japanese mres.
