WTB: Cookie, chocolate covered
Will buy all I can find. Had these when I was a kid, it's my favorite MRE item ever. Looking for 80s-90s version. Will pay or trade anything from my stock. Thank you!

yeah or the rectangle ones like in the RCWs. I always had the rectangle ones so maybe it was later 80s, early 90s.NuWorldMann wrote:Mean like these?

Re: WTB: Cookie, chocolate covered
I always loved those cookies - the older circular ones were dubbed "gorilla cookies" - not too sure why except usually the meld together into 1 big cookie (it was 2 smaller circular ones in a pack). The rectangular ones seem to hold up a little better. Dont open them out in the heat - the chocolate melts off in the pack and you'll be dogging your finger in there scooping up the morsels.
Next time i open a brown bagger for fun, I'll save one for ya wats! I hope someone takes ya up on the inquiry, and with more than just one, that's for sure.
Keep your eye out for late 90's civvy MREs like the one Emmy reviewed last year.. every single one has a choc cookie in it!
I bought 38 of those mres from my neighbor for 80 bucks 2 years ago.. they all got eaten and i gifted 12 to a lucky fellow for christmas. That was fun!
RC Gusto also reviewed that MRE - was a chili mac & one of his first reviews. Check his and Emmy's out so you kniw what to look for! Hidden treasure.

You are so right, wats. Rat-finking brown baggers just for the snacks is criminal nowadays. Only true goobers do that.wats6831 wrote:No my friend sadly nothing yet. I don't want to resort to opening random brown bags. They are too preciousalohakid wrote:NuWorldMann - Yum, that looks delicious...

I just scored a case of old civvy MREs, and 3 are going to Smokey - but several of the remaining 8 (case only had 11 in it) will be up for grabs. They should have Choc cookies in them if my intel is correct. So stay tuned!
