Looking to become a seller..

I'm looking to become a seller of MREs, but I have a few questions first.
1. Where could i obtain them from in the first place?
2. Which would be the most popular?
3.Is it all legal?

Sorry for the long post, I work in retail management so cost/balancing/Profit and loss is what I do daily.
Most sellers in the UK buy seem to have cases and sell individually, prices seem to run around £10-15 a MRE on ebay and places like SOF.
As we are the wrong side of the pond, shipping from the US will be expensive, MRE's are a lot easier to come by in Germany you could potentially have a chat with some German sellers from ebay.de, if you buy say 10 cases you might get a slight discount. Rent/borrow a van and drive over pick them up, don't know where you are in the Midlands I just google mapped it from Leicester to Harwich (Hoek Van Holland Ferry) and its a 3 hour drive and about £150 for the ferry plus whatever fuel will be.
Costs
10 cases at maybe 90 quid a go = £900
Ferry - £150
Fuel £100+
10 cases of MRE's would give you 120 (12 in a box) assuming you sell all of them at 12.50 a go would give you roughly £1500, ebay would take fees and what not which doesn't leave much profit given the outlay of the cases, travel and fuel.
20 cases with an outlay cost of about £1600-£1800 (bigger buy bigger discount maybe) would give you 240 MREs yet again assuming you sell all of them at 12.50 thats around £3000 Minus initial outlay.
This is a lot of assuming and guess work, I just went mid range on prices as you wont want to undercut and make less or overcharge and not sell any but I personally can't see it being a viable long term business with just MRE's.
