Hi, there is a place in oslo that sells fresh military rations.

You have to buy a whole case.

There are two kind of cases. One for arctic conditions (drytech), and one for tropical conditions (vestey foods)

Arctic version - http://www.armygear.com/stridsmateriell ... joner.html
Tropical version - looks like theyre out of stock. Not able to find it on their webpage.

They have a store in oslo.

The adress is: Arnljot Gellinesvei 3, 0657 Oslo
Theyre phonenumber is: +47 21986030

Opening hours is :

Mandag: 10.00-16.00
Tirsdag: 10.00-16.00
Onsdag: 10.00-16.00
Torsdag: 10.00-18.00
Fredag: 10.00-13.00

This is as far as I know the only place that sells these rations.

They are only allowed to sell cases, not singles. They have asked the producer, but they say no.

Tbone, if you do this I would like to get in on it. I bet there are enough of us that we could do a case.

They dont list shipment outside norway on the webpage, just some different ways to ship around Norway.

3795,- NOK is about 440$

I think i could help with the shipping, but i think it might be really expensive, It should definetely have tracking. And then theres the risk of us customs to say no no.
I could break it in to smaller packages maybe. I can crack some numbers at posten.no (Norway post office) for you to give you an estimate.

A case weighs 10.75 kg

It will cost 839,- NOK to ship it overseas with tracking. That is about 98 dollars.

So total with case and shipping, we are talking about 550 dollars. Thats about 23 dollars pr menu.
