Dear MRE Info,
I recently got into watching MRE videos and learning a bit more about MREs in general. I really want to try out some cornflake/shortbread/chocolate dessert bars. Does anyone have a line on these Food Packets?
Thanks,
elkabong

Re: WTB Food Packet, Survival, General Purpose
I don't have spare General Purpose rats, but I do have quite a few cornflake bars and oatmeal cookie bars from around 1992. Both types definitely edible. If you don't find complete general purpose rations feel free to shoot me a PM and we can work out a deal for a few.

Thanks very much. All I have for trade is Menu A and B US MREs (2016 test year). I'll keep looking for a couple weeks then maybe hit you up. Someone is selling one for $70 (free shipping lol) on ebay. Appreciate the offer.

Oh jeez. Depending on what generation you're looking for they should be under 20 bucks. The version with "New Generation" in the name is incredibly rare though, so $70 may not be out of the question for that version.

Looks like a regular one... Some people, sheesh.
Re: WTB Food Packet, Survival, General Purpose
If you are still interested, I'd sell you one if you like. PM me with a reasonable offer and I will add that to the shipping method of your choice.

Thanks for the replies. Will pm accordingly as I wouldn't mind picking up a couple more. I did end up getting a few from eBay, paying a little more than reasonable, but it was worth it. Handy items to have around, bulletproof (other than the tea and soup), tasty, and light. Great for sticking in your day pack. I find the compressed shortbread kind of addictive.
