Buying International MREs

Greetings everyone!

I am looking to buy as many international (Non-USA) MREs as I can find, does anyone know of a good source to buy MREs online for shipping to the USA? I am happy to pay a fair price + shipping. I am looking to buy Cases, but I could buy singles as well - Fresh or Expired are both OK. If there is anyone here that is wiling to sell their own MREs to me, please pm me and I am sure we can work something out. I just recently became interested in MREs and have been researching them since, any advice on where to buy would be appreciated! Thanks!

Best,
Don

First off, I wrote this part in last in case you think what I am typing here is in any way mean or rude I do not mean to be it is just I had to learn so much (and some of it is just brutal truth) in the 12 or more years of my Ration hobby.

Good luck on your Ration acquisition goals. It requires a methodical process of rapport building, contributions, and communication with the community of Ration-enthusiasts and it can be not only fiscally consuming, but time consuming as well.

First off, I wish you luck receiving anything more than maybe 10 pounds through most international postal services - they will gladly rob you of your rations, and send you an empty and broken box if you are lucky.
You will be very lucky to get sealed cases of International Rations without them either stealing, damaging, destroying, or opening and removing meat contents etc.
I never buy more than say 2 24 hr Rations in a parcel - now Russia seems to be a good one along with Lithuania - others have had bad luck with Russia - I personally am getting a 6 pack of 24 HR Rats soon and I hope they don't destroy or steal the stuff.
Not to say it is impossible to get a full case of International Rations, have it labeled "Camping Supplies", "Vintage Camping Supplies", or (help me out folks what the heck else do we label it I'm having a brain fart and am dyin' over here hah), Camping Equipment.
I've seen some lucky folks get whole cases of International Rats before - but honestly, that was years ago and I can't remember in the last 5 years have I seen someone who got a whole case of anything.
I once got a whole case of Breakfast IMP's in 2003.. but that was 12 years ago and it cost me $90 then.. that would be most likely $130 now if you're lucky.
My second case of IMP's came from Treesuit (fantastic seller) but he is in the US so it would be asking him how he got them which I never asked.

My advice would be to start on Ebay - there are also other websites that sell International Rations such as:

http://sklep.arpol.net.pl/en/17-field-ration-rb24h-mre

http://www.kitbag.com.au/products/24hr- ... 000Kj.html

There are other sites out there, investigate those sites, buy Rations off Ebay, do 3 reviews on this site, and build rapport with the Facebook community called The MRE Exchange, ask around on the YT Ration Community (mostly new faces to the community but there ARE some folks who have connections), and then come back to me after completing those efforts and I will help you tremendously on your new-found hobby.

Again, good luck, and we hope to see you around! Sounds like you are serious about Rations, and I very much respect that! Fascinating stuff, isn't it?

Also, look at this website's forum reviews, you will learn so much about what you want to get into here just by looking through the MRE, Other Ration, and International Ration Review sections. Also, go to the member's forum, read about us - learn about your new community of friends and also, ask questions! We love answering them - and it's always good for us to brush up on our Ration-Chops! We are all sorta specialized in this madness! Dive in, Don! You'll have a blast!

Hope to see you around!

-Steve

Hi! I'm trying to do the same. This website and the forums are amazing. I've really been bitten by the ration bug in the past year and am slowly starting my collection. I've also been reading as much as I can on the topic "Combat Ready Kitchen", etc. Good luck in your ration hunt!

I'm new to this forum and look forward to communicating with others who share the same passion!
