I actually saw this deal last month but it's still around and they have more selection in so I thought I'd mention it.

they have "older" MRE entrees for sale for US$0.99 each or $0.89 each if you buy a case of 72. That comes out to $64 per case plus shipping.

Here's what they have right now:

2001 Beef Stew
2001 Beef Teriyaki
2001 Grilled Chicken Breast
2001 Meat Loaf with onion and Gravy
1999 Beef with mushrooms in sauce
2001 Jamaican style Pork chop with shell noodles

I ordered a case of Meatloaf and Jamaican Pork Chops and I can verify that they were still very good. These cases weigh around 45lbs each so shipping ain't cheap - it was $33 per case for me. But the final price worked out to around $1.33 per entree so I'm happy with that.

Personally, I think they should half the price for the chicken breasts because those just come in little 4 oz. servings. But the Beef Stew is always good and I'm tempted to try the Beef w/ mushrooms in sauce.

I've bought from them in the past and had nothing but good experiences. Also, the price of the MRE's even with shipping cost factored in are pretty good. Compare $1.33 per meal with $1.40 for 1 can of Chef Boyardee. Something to think about.

I bought a few of each entree . . . but that was before they added the Beef Teriyaki and Beef Stew to the lineup.

I like the spices in the Jamaican pork chop; the chicken breast is smaller than the rest, but you can dress it up with other junk; the meatloaf is okay....but the beef and mushrooms?

I don't know...maybe it's the smell, . . . or maybe it's the taste, but I'll pass on that one.

Beef Stew is always a favorite! But, what the vote on the Beef Teriyaki?
