Hi all,

I was wondering if there is a way to link an UK ebay account to buy from the German ebay?

It seem's ebay germany has a lot more choice for MRE's but im unsure how to buy from there, mainly due to the language barrier.

A seller there seems to have a nice choice of 2009 menu #18 and #20 that im interested in buying (large order of 10+ individual MRE)

Am i correct in thinking I might have to try open a new account or something? or will this not be allowed?

Any tips on how to buy from Ebay.de?

I´m always using my German accout to login at ebay UK and USA too, that works.
Ebay offers and translation service, but just post the auction, we´ll translate what ever you need

...that im interested in buying...

€9.99 per MRE + €4 s+h that´s €120 per case without shipping...

It´s the same than buying at ebay USA or UK. Just ask the seller if he will ship outside Germany and about the fares!

Yeah €120 a case without shipping might seem a bit steep, but its still cheaper than whats on offer on ebay uk atm.
theres a much better selection though.

Uk just has either case A or B and a few random single MRE's

I think my main concern with buying from the german site is communication with the seller more than anything.

If I come too unstuck ill ask for your help in translateing with permission

Ebay only offer to translate a foreign auction into the sellers origin language...

Im using the google chrome browser and it translates the pages automatically, well the text anyways, although text within the images are still in german.

After a few failed attempts at communicating in german, the seller actually started replying in english.

Please the seller to declare it as "present" at customs forms with a value less than ~$30. Otherwise usually you have to pay the canadian VAT for importing something (that´s how ours would work)
