Freeze Dried foods

Post by desperado » Tue Feb 09, 2010 10:51 pm

Where do you all get yours from? I got some strawberries and entrees (chili mac, lasagna) from Mountain House, but they are a little pricy. My family went thru the 10# can of strawberries in about 3 days (and that was with me rationing it)! I wish I could get like a 5 gallon bucket of it somewhere. Any ideas? Thanks!

I bought all mine from various "group buys" that have happened in the past. I haven't heard of Mountain House supporting any new ones lately, though. There are a number of places online selling Mountain House and other types of freeze dried foods so you should be able to shop around. The one place I always start with for checking prices is The Epicenter:

Another place to check is Emergency Essentials/Be Prepared:
