Good Buying Experience

Hi,

Just thought I'd share my recent experiences with http://www.theepicenter.com

So far, it looks like this is truly the only place to buy reasonable priced MRE's, entrees, desserts, and all the rest (heater packs, etc)

The site is easy to read and very straightforward, as are their selections!

I've purchased 3 cases of MRE's (1/2 case of MRE) and the rest have been entrees and side dishes & desserts.

Their service is great. After placing an order, I find that they generally ship the next day UPS. Shipping is reasonable, but I wish they offered free shipping on orders over $50 or $75

Recently they sold out of a favorite dish, Chicken and Feta Cheese, so I wrote to them and asked when they might be getting more in. A prompt response arrived stating that due to the problems in Haiti, that it might be a while before that particular dish would be available.

2 Days ago, I received an email from Bryan that said they were able to get some of the entree in stock and that I should watch the webpage. Bryan had remembered that I was looking for this particular MRE and emailed me unsolicited!

That's what I call excellent customer service!

So all in all, I'd highly reccomend the Epicenter!

Thanks and I hope this helps someone,

MREGal

I wholeheartedly agree with that. Thepicenter is pretty top shelf in my book and they also have a lot of unusual stuff that you can't get anywhere else.

Also it appears we have a female ration fan here. That's pretty cool. Not everyday we get a woman's point of view on here. 8)

I agree 100%. The Epicenter is my No. 1 favorite "retail" site for MRE's.

I Like their prices, and they seem to have the largest variety of MRE items available.

I'll also give a nod to Meyers Custon Supply, as I have had good experiences with them as well

Hey, MREGal....

I noticed that we're almost neighbors. I'm in Granada Hills. Have you been to SOS Survival Products in Van Nuys? If you need a case of MREs and are in the Valley, you can drop by and pick them up. They only carry the Sure-Pack (Sopacko civilian) brand, but they also have a TON of other great stuff, too. (No, I don't own the place--I'm just a regular customer and I know the owner!)

Oh, and they've got a big parking lot sale coming up June 11-12 with food samples!

They seem pretty good, but after waiting 20 days for my order to come I got an email saying that my order was canceled because I didn't give my billing name
(I didn't notice it said "req'd field") and I had to re-order. It wouldn't matter all that much, but they let me order without filling it in, I think they should only let you click "order" if you fill everything you need to in... Also, they already had my name, and it would be use of common sense to realize my billing name is simply MY name... :? but hopefully everything will work out this time. :|
