Hi,
Does anyone know of a website in the UK or Europe thats sell's the first strike rations?
I have been buying US MRE's from a site called
www.armyrations.co.uk who have FSR's advertised but have yet to see they have them in stock.
Any help would be apreciated.
regards,
David.

They are sold out (
from members here
)
Any other source would be the "Holy Grail"

I still think the situation is pretty comical...here in the US, we can't buy US-made FSRs. But there's a store in the UK that has them. But people in the UK can't buy them because the Germans bought up all the stock.

Wow that's pretty crazy
Hehe I guess I better just keep refreshing Armyrations.co.uk untill I see some FRS's popup and then buy buy buy.
I guess if FSR's are like the gold of the ration world atm, then Housil is like midas
Regard's
David.

It's all about the money
I have never encountered a FSR in a Dutch shop before, only repacked MRE contents.. as a "FSR" for €20
So if you buy a first strike ration.. make sure you get the real one, and not some "packed together pack" from all non-original items, in a non-original bag, with.. you get the point..
There are a lot of fakes on the side from the ocean (same goes with the German EPa leicht and Dutch LAV)

At bever zwerfsport (i believe) they sell "The German Federal Army super quality combat ration, EPa "Leicht" for €25"
Insane prices.... and not "light" but it's just a sack of travellunch items.. nothing more. I have seen the EPa lights (same idea) at eBay.de though..

are you guys talking about the EPA LEICHT in the box oder the TRAVELLUNCH DAYPACKS?
here some news to the 2 items:
- the TRAVELLUNCH DAYPACK contain from now an 4x K4 sesame bars instead of the K3 energy bars
- EPA LEICHT (bundeswehr) dontains now VERIS instead of TRAVELLUNCH mainmeals. the producer of the cookies also changed.

Both are not the thing.. simply repacked travellunch items, probably by the shops themselves..
Selling them as genuine to make more money..

this is genuine bundeswehr:
well - it is NOT the same - even when its written "kartoffeltopf" (for example) ob both TRAVELLUNCH pouches. civil and army is different.
for a better explanation take a car: the car body (pouch) is the same and the engine (food) is different. so the different cars (pouches) even have another description in the handbook (on the pouch).
and by the way: there is VERIS in now - not travellunch (mainmeals and coockies)
this are original TRAVELLUNCH daypacks packed by travellunch itself.
simply repacked travellunch items, probably by the shops themselves..
this is a really bad accusation
