Good eBay deal on APacks

I just ran across this auction on eBay:
Case of 12 Emergency Meals by APack Ready Meals MRE
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0310078509
$25 buy-it-now with $20 shipping. $45 is a pretty good price for these, I think. The seller had 6 cases...now she only has 4.
I haven't purchased from her before so here's hoping the transaction goes well.

I got a little worried about this auction. Right after I did a buy-it-now for 2 cases (and paid for it!), I received a notice from eBay that they had cancelled the auction. I think this is one of the MRE auctions that was mass-cancelled in eBay's latest frenzy. But I contacted the seller and she said the MREs were still being shipped.
The other thing I was worried about was that the case pictures from the auction (see below) said the MREs weighed just under 12 pounds. That was off because I know regular military MREs weight 24 pounds. I was afraid I was going to get a mini-case or half-case full of aPacks. Even Ameriqual's website says the cases weigh 18 pounds.
Here are the pics:
But when the MREs arrived, I opened one of the cases and every MRE was just right. Here's a typical menu:
- Spaghetti w/Meat Sauce
Peanut Butter
Crackers
Strawberry Pop Tart
Oatmeal Cookie
Raisins
Beverage tube
FRH, moist towelette, pepper, spoon
1310 calories in that one MRE - just like it says here on their site:
http://www.readymeal.com/meals/spaghetti.html
So yay...looks like it was a good auction...and these are definitely great civilian MREs.

Sometimes it is better not to ask questions, but the regular
store prices is $69.95 . So how can they sale them for just 25 bucks?!
Thats an awesome deal

I don't know for sure, but I would guess that they were hurricane relief MREs that someone didn't need any longer - so they probably cost the seller $0.
